Marie Gross

Marie Gross is a former Program Coordinator with Missouri Breaks Industries Research Inc. and in that role she facilitated bringing the Communities That Care Program to Cheyenne River. She returned to working in nursing at the Indian Health Service in Eagle Butte to assist with Covid-19. She is now an Administrative Officer at the Great Plains Area Youth Treatment Center. Marie felt that the CTC would be a great opportunity for community members to improve youth outcomes. It is an opportunity to bring youth closer to their cultural strengths and improve youth outcomes overall through facilitated investment in youth in the Cheyenne River communities. Marie hopes that CTC helps to engage youth and show improved youth outcomes overall in Eagle Butte and the surrounding communities.
