Joan Upell

Joan Upell is a recently retired K-12 educator/librarian. She taught at Tiospaye Topa School, C-EB Junior High and was a school library consultant for the SD State Library. Over her 40 years in education Joan has worked with youth of all ages and believes in the power of relationships. Joan would like to see CTC collaborate with the entire community through the numerous organizations serving our youth. In this way, all youth will be given a voice to express their needs and be provided with positive choices for opportunities inside and outside of the school setting.
