Nancy Welch

My name is Dr. Nancy Welch. I was born and raised in Eagle Butte; which was a large influence on my educational and career paths. I recently graduated with my PhD from Capella University in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have had a long-term goal of returning to Eagle Butte to give back to the community that partially made me who I am today. I am a wife and mother of three, avid reader, and have a passion for learning. I would like to see our community grow and learn together. The ultimate outcome would be for our community to learn what healthy relationships look like, find ways to lessen the impact of trauma, reduce substance use, and improve community connection.
